A man throws a shoe at President George W. Bush during a news conference with Iraq Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki on Sunday, Dec. 14, 2008, in Baghdad. The man threw two shoes at Bush, one after another. Bush ducked both throws, and neither man was hit. No shots were fired as Bush's Secret Service detail joined Iraqi police in taking the shoe thrower into custody. The arrested man was identified as Muntathar al Zaidi, a 29-year-old employee of Cairo, Egypt -based Baghdadiya Television. Officials in Prime Minister Nouri al Maliki's office refused to comment on his condition or on whether he'd be criminally charged. Being struck by a shoe is known as one of the worst insults in the Arab world. Zaidi also hurled insults at the president calling him "no better than a dog".

 

Now, Bush has no reason to "fudge" his answers, right? He has no more
elections to face. No more, "He's got to say this to get elected," which was

numerous apostate positions during the past eight years.

BLOOMINGTON, Ind., Dec. 3 /Christian Newswire/ -- New footage released today from an undercover camera inside an abortion clinic in Bloomington shows Planned Parenthood staff deliberately violating the state's mandatory reporting laws for sexual abuse.

The footage shows Lila Rose, a UCLA student journalist and president of right-to-life advocacy group Live Action, posing as a 13-year-old girl. In an appointment with a Planned Parenthood nurse, Rose says she has been impregnated by a 31-year-old man, a clear case of child molestation under Indiana state law.  Read.  Watch This Video!

December 1 marks the annual observance of "World AIDS Day." While we should rightfully mourn the passing of so many victims, let's get real about what can be done to prevent future death and disability, not to mention the expenditure of billions of dollars. In short, we need to recognize that HIV/AIDS is largely a male homosexual disease in the U.S., and it is highly preventable. Here are some facts to consider:

1. Over 1 million people now have HIV in the U.S.(a)

2. Almost half of HIV cases (just under 500,000) are known to involve male homosexual behavior.(b) This is a highly conservative figure. Male- to- male sex is a contributing factor in other transmission categories as the Centers for Disease Control defines them. A more realistic actual figure is around 60-70%.
