Dear Dave,
I read your ‘Mind of Christ’ with great interest. It was sent to us by our daughter in NM, and brought to mind a situation some 42 years ago when we were still in the salad days of our marriage and family. We already had a lovely +_ 18month old daughter and Lynn had fallen pregnant with what we hoped might be our son. Then tragedy struck! Lynn ran into serious health problems. Nephritis set in and it seemed that nothing the local hospital and doctors could do helped and she hovered in the brink of renal failure. Her whole body shook life an aspen leaf - rigals. She had to be rushed to a specialist Hospital in Durban, where she came under the care of a gynecologist

Peter LaBarbera President of Americans For Truth will be spending Saturday morning with Coach Dave. LaBarbera is one of America's foremost warriors in the battle to save the American Culture. According to their website Americans For Truth are the only national organization devoted exclusively to exposing and countering the homosexual activist agenda. Don't miss this opportunity to learn more about the Gay Agenda and their efforts to make homosexuality "tolerable."

On the website at www.minutemenununited.com there is an article posted from Rick Scarborough's website Vision America that breaks the sad news to us that those who marry are now a minority in America. Whereas marriage was once the goal of every young man and women in America, today, co-habitation has taken the place of a life-long committment, one-man-one-woman for life.

A few weeks ago I wrote an open letter to Dr. James Dobson and other prominent pro-family leaders. Please take the time to read this letter and then take a moment to forward it on to all the Christian leaders you know. Link: Dear Dr. Dobson and Friends

"Hell is the farthest thing from the minds of Americans. In fact, I have heard the mantra many times that 'this is hell right here on earth.' Funny, that isn't what Christianity teaches. No, most 'Christians' today think that they are going to go to Heaven because they are 'a good person,' or they 'go to church,' or they 'try to do what is right,' or my favorite, 'I was born a Christian.' How can any Christian study the Bible and come to that conclusion?"

I have often heard folks talk about the importance of attending a good Bible-believing church. For some reason that has never gone done with me very well. I think most churches would consider themselves "Bible-believing" churches. Unfortunately, most of the people sitting in the pews have no idea what the Bible really teaches. The say they believe it, but they sure can't quote it.

Don't miss Pass The Salt this Saturday. Coach Dave will be sharing the microphone with Pastor Bob Enyart of the Denver Bible Church who recently exposed Focus on the Family, and other national ministries, for moving away from God's standards.

Coach and Norma McCorveyFlip Benham and Operation Save America walked into another controversy last week when they burned a copy of the Koran while in Jackson, Mississippi. I, like many others did not see the connection between abortion and the Koran, and did not understand the need to do that, believing that it detracts from the message of child killing. When I asked Rev. Benham his reasons why, here is how he responded. Although this is not verbatim, these were the focus of his thoughts.

I have about had it with rapture fever. I know that probably makes a few of you mad, but I think it is time that somebody asks the question. On my radio show on Saturday I will take it on. Never claiming to be a theologian, and being raised Catholic, the whole idea of a rapture was foreign to me. Only after I was born again in 1988 did I begin to hear about this event. Needless to say, it was a real eye opener for me.

I made my annual visit to the poorly-named "Gay Pride Parade" in Columbus last month. As is always the case, I am amazed at what I see. This year was no different than in the past, but there were a few things that caught my eye. I was overwhelmed by two emotions. As Jesus was, I too was "moved with compassion" for those who paraded their sin down the streets of Columbus, proudy displaying outwardly what I know they were ashamed of inwardly. It grieved me to think that they had been so deceived into believing that they were "normal" and thus trapping themselves into that lifestyle. At the same time, I had the overwhelming urge to grab some lysol. Just think for a moment what it is that homosexuals do.....I know that is a gross thought...but they are defined by their actions. Why is it we are taught to wash our hands when we touch our own private parts, but that we are to celebrate when touching the private parts of another of the same sex? No wonder disease is so rampant in that community...and yet the government promotes it. visit but beware...it might be offensive.
