Dr. Brooky Stockton, a 36 year pastor in the Southern Baptist Convention was relieved of his pastorate for not toeing the party line, warning of the church's unholy alliance with politicians. A former theological professor, Dr. Stockton says that Romans 13 as currently interpreted in the church mis-applies the Scripture and that it is the role of the Church to hold government accountable.

Christians are sooo blind. Two stories on our Minutemen website show just how blind, dumb, and stupid we are. Planned Parenthood of America just recently reported an income in 2004-2005 of $882,000,000...nearly 1 Billion! After expenses, the not-for-profit agency cleared $63,000,000....cleared 62 million! Sixty two million dollars from killing babies. As if that isn't enough salt in the wound, Planned Parenthood received nearly $273,000,000...273 million....in TAX dollars! Just call it abortion subsides....sort of like a farmer receives.

Two recent stories caught my eye this week. You can read them on the Minutemen site. David Parker's 7-year old son was attacked at school by up to 10 students and beaten in what appears to be a retaliation against his fathers protestation of the schools homosexual indoctrination of young students in the Lexington, Mass.

Men Who Are Earning their Stripes! Four men of God engaged in the battle for America will guest with Coach Dave. Did you know that the Slavic-Christian Church in Sacremento is leading the fight for the culture? Is there something for us to learn from those coming out of communism?

I get so tired of seeing America bow to the gay agenda. How have we reached the point in this nation where a family store such as Macy's will openly celebrate "Gay Pride"? On our Minuteman site is a link to the pictures of Macy's storefront windows and their open promotion of the homosexual lifestyle. The Christian Civic League of Maine has called for a boycott, but once again we must ask ourselves "where is the church." If we are called to be salt and light how can one of the most famous stores in America openly spit in the eye of the church? Is it because the church too has lost her way? Are we more concerned with being loved that being respected? Are we convinced that the battle over homosexual rights has been lost? Do we really believe that Jesus is accepting of the homosexual lifestyle? Is it sin? Wouldn't Jesus say to them "Go and sin no more"?Should we say any less?

In a recent article from Reuters News Service found on the Minutemen site it seems that the mayor of Moscow has more moral courage than any mayor in "Moral America". Faced with the prospect of homosexuals parading in the streets of Moscow to protest against "Homophobia and discrimination", Mayor Yuri Luzkhov declared "Our way of life, our morals and our tradition -- our morals are cleaner in all ways. The West has something to learn from us and should not race along in this mad licentiousness," he told Moscow radio, according to local news agencies. "We may have a democratic country, but we live in an organized country and an organized city." He ordered the homosexuals barred from the streets of Moscow and would not permit "this desecration of a sacred place." Russian women lined the streets shouting "Moscow is not Sodom" as they hurled eggs at the activists.

Remember this story? On April 27, 2005 a Lexington, MA, parent, David Parker, was arrested by the Lexington police and charged with "trespassing" at his son’s elementary school during a scheduled meeting with the principal and the town’s Director of Education over his objections to homosexual curriculum materials. Parker had asked for notification and possible opt-out for his son for homosexual curriculum or ad-hoc discussions by adults in his son’s kindergarten class. After several months of communication, he was repeatedly told that his requests are "not possible." He finally said he would not leave the meeting until this was resolved. After being arrested and spending the night in jail, Parker was arraigned on Thursday, April 28, in Concord District Court. When he informed Judge Robert McKenna that he had not been allowed to call his lawyer, the judge scolded him for not being respectful. Parker was released on $1,000 surety bond. He was officially informed that he may not set foot on any school property in Lexington, or he will be arrested again for trespassing.
