At last Monday's Mt. Vernon School Board meeting fellow Science teacher Lori Miller informed the board that she, too, regularly performed the same experiment with her class involving a Tesla Coil, had a Bible on her desk, and Christian symbols in her room and she had never once been asked by any superior to cease and desist.  In addition, Mrs. Miller said that even though she was on the "witness" list of the "investigation" conducted by an "independent" investigator, had worked along John Freshwater for years, no one ever interviewed her to find out if she might have evidence pertinent to the case.

Finally the Columbus Dispatch has been forced to change its tune.  For the first time they have stopped referring to the "firing" of John Freshwatewr when in fact no such action has ever occurred.  Now they are referring to him as a "suspended."  In addition they have acknowledged the powerful support that he has received in the community saying he was "like a rock star."  John Freshwater is innocent and the truth will eventually be told.  Read the Dispatch's report of Monday's school board meeting.
