David Letterman just hoisted his hind leg like one of your Alaskan Huskies and relieved himself all over your wife and daughters and I never heard a whimper from the sled-dog champion..

I’m trying hard to be tolerant and to embrace diversity. I really am.

But it seems that every time I start to get a handle on things something pops up that throws all of my recent sensitivity training out of the window and sends my slowly emerging softer side into a tizzy.

What if You Are Wrong?

 

During the past few months I have spent a great deal of time yelling at the television.  I swear the ignorance of those in positions of authority astound me.  I'll never forget what my daughter told me after a year of working as a legislative aide in the Ohio Senate.

 

"Dad, you wouldn't believe how stupid some of the legislators are.  I can't believe some of the things I hear them say.  No wonder government is so messed up."  Two years was all she could take.

 

So, on Tuesday when President Hussein went to new extremes in nominating our latest affirmative action Supreme Court Justice, my daughter's lament rattled around in my memory chamber as I listened to a parade of talking heads explain what a great Justice “Sayonara Sanity” was going to be.

 

Lawlessness Will Abound

Americans had better start having babies and we better start having them fast. The “battle for the culture” is in danger of being lost for lack of ammunition. Apart from absolute Truth, the greatest weapon or asset any civilization will ever have is children. They are the guarantor of our American heritage.

Conserve--“To keep in a safe or sound state; to save; to preserve; to protect" Conservatism was destined to fail. It is a defensive position, a philosophy designed to “hold ground.” It flies in the face of the Gospel: “upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. And “And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffereth violence, and the violent take it by force.

Last week we posted on our website the Red Envelope Campaign which really was nothing more than an opportunity for people to DO SOMETHING to make their voices heard on the issue of abortion. 

I am astonished that you are so quickly deserting the one who called you by the grace of Christ and are turning to a different gospel— which is really no gospel at all. Evidently some people are throwing you into confusion and are trying to pervert the gospel of Christ.  Galations 1:6-7

 

 

There's something happening here .   What it is ain't exactly clear.

Does Two Plus Two Equal Four?
